L'an mil huit cent quatre vingt douze, le dix sept avril, a dix heures du matin, pardevant nous, Francois August Geruot adjoint au maire de la ville de Dijon, Côte-d'or remplissant par délégation spéciale des fonctions d'officier del Etat civil, ont comparu: M. M. Henri Prudent, âgé de soixante six ans, et francois Niquevart, âgé de soixant dix neuf ans, tous deux employés à l'hôpital de cette ville y demeurant y lesquels nous ont declaré que cejourd'hui, dix sept avril, à quatre heure du matin Francois Brosseau, âgé de cinquante cinq ans, cloutier, demeurant à Dijon, impasse du petit citesux, né a Villeperdue (Indre et Loire), le cinq fevrier, mil huit cent trente sept, fils naturel de Jeanne Brosseau, et Veuf de Catherine Elisa Massapoux, est décédé au dit hôpital ou nous nous sommes transporté et assuré de ce déces. 443 Brosseau francois 55 years old V	In the year eighteen hundred and ninety two, on the seventeenth of April at ten o'clock in the morning, before us, Francois August Gerout, assistant to the mayor of the town of Dijon, Côte-d'Or, substituting by special delegation in the function of officer of the state, has appeared: Misters Henri Prudent, sixty six years old, and Francois Niquevart, sixty nine years old, both employees of the hospital in this town and living here, they have declared that today, the seventeenth of April, at 4 o'clock in the morning Francois Brosseau, fifty five years old, cloutier resident of Dijon, impasse du petit citesux, born in Villeperdue (Indre et Loire), on the fifth of February eighteen hundred thirty seven, illegitimate son of Jeanne Brosseau, and widower of Catherine Elisa Massapoux, died in the above named hospital ?? and were assured of his death.
