Translation of the French document:

The 15th day of the month of Pluviose of the year 13.

Death certificate of Gerhard Rieden born on: fifty-five years old, a farmer living in Hauroth died in Hauroth the fourteenth day at one o'clock in the afternoon in the month of Pluviose of the year thirteen. He was married to Gertrude Wolwer and son of Philipp Rieden and Margaret Lang residing in the vicinity of Calenbour.

Based on the declaration made to us by Hubartun Rieden born: thirty two years old, a farmer living in Hauroth, son of the deceased
and Simon Bleuser born: forty-one years old, a farmer living in Hauroth, neighbor of the deceased.

Made and drawn up by our officer of the civil state, and being signed by us the declarers, after being read and translated into German.

Jacob Dietzen, 31 years old, died
this morning in the city, following an
operation. The body was taken to the
Zacherl chapel and as shipped from
there this afternoon to his home in
Mount Calvary.
He is survived by a widow; four
children, Irvin, 6 years old, Evelyn,
4 years old, Lorraine, 2 years old, and
Delphine, 3 months old; his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Dietzen of
Mount Calvary; two brothers, Frank
and Michael; four sisters, Mrs. H. J.
Holzman, the Misses Carolyn, Isabel,
and Elenore of Mount Calvary.
The funeral arrangements will be
announced later.

1966 OBITUARY OF JOSEPH RIEDEN

JOSEPH RIEDEN
Joseph Rieden, 73, of R. 1, Mt. Calvary, died at 5:40 p.m. Thursday at St. Agnes Hospital, fond du Lac, where he had been a patient for one week.
He was born, May 11, 1892, in the Town of Forest, son of the late Joseph and Margaret Kramer Rieden. On June 6, 1915, he was married to Anna Wirtz in St. Peter.
The couple located in that area where they foarmed until their retirement in 1959. Mrs. Rieden died in 1963.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Parish, Mt. Calvary.
Surviving are a son, Harvey, and a daughter, Miss Dorothy, both of R. 1, Mt. Calvary; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Dietzen, Mrs Albert Weber, and Mrs. Joseph Olig, all of Mt. Calvary; two brothers, Louis of R. 1, Malone, and Alfred of Fond du Lac, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mt. Calvary, preceded by brief family rites at the Lisowe Funeral Home at 10 a.m. The Rev. Elmer Stoffel, OFM, pastor, Holy Cross Parish, will be celebrant of the requiem Mass. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. A parish Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Sunday evening.

Elsie S. Hamrick
Elsie S. Hamrick of Papillion, Neb., formerly of Springfield, died Tuesday [April 29, 1997] at Huntington Park Care Center, Papillion.
She was born in LaPlace, the daughter of John and Sadie Moffett Kintner. She married Henry Rieden and he preceded her in death. She later married John Henry Hamrick; he also preceded her in death.
Survivors: a son, Henry D. Rieden of Papillion, Neb.; two stepdaughters, Mary Alice Trotter and Patricia Monaghan, both of Springfield; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass was held Friday at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church in Papillion, Neb.
Graveside services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Calvary Cemetery, the Rev. Henry Schmidt officiating.
Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
