*MARY FRANCES STORY JOHNSON PERRY
-- ** --

BORN: October 1837 in Georgia 5 6 7 8 10 11 30 31
DIED: 1917 in Harris County, Georgia 30 31
BURIED: Ridgeway Cemetery, Waverley Hall, Harris County, Georgia 30 31
The headstone next to William J. Perry in the location that a wife would have reads:

FRANCES STORY
DAU OF
JOSIAH & LOUISA STORY
WIFE OF
J. W. PERRY
1833-1917

1) Since she is buried next to W J Perry, and I cannot find a J W Perry except for Jesse W Perry who could not have been her husband, it appears that is an error. 2) If she is the wife of William Perry, other records list her as Mary F. Presumably the F is for Frances. The headstone is missing her first name, Mary. 3) All other records I have indicate she was born in 1837 or 1838, not 1833. 4) There is a Josiah Story with a daughter Frances or Mary F. but his wife is Martha, not Louisa. Josiah later married Eliza (short for Elizabeth) but still not Louisa. So this headstone either has 4 major errors or the mysterious Frances Story has not been found.
