The 1889-1890 St. Louis, Missouri Directory found on Ancestry.com shows Ben(nett) and David Wasserman as Ticket Brokers for Wasserman & Co. They had 5 employees: Julius Hauck, stenographer; Robert Latz, cashier; William H. Owen, agent; Xenno E. Owen, clerk; and William B. Sourbeer, book-keeper. The business was at 405 & 407 Chestnut. 12 (There is a bank building there now, but it was across from the Capitol.)
MARRIAGE: Rose Meyer (July 13, 1866 MO-Apr. 29, 1939) June 25, 1885 in St. Louis, Missouri. It was a joint wedding with Annie Meyer and Ruby S. Crohn. 3 8 9 10 14

The newspaper article on his death says that his brother-in-law, Max Judd, died in a similarly sudden manner several months earlier. It says they were attached to each other and had similar tastes. 10
He was a member of the St. Louis Stock Exchange, the Merchant's Exchange, a director of the Columbian Club, the Missouri Athletic Club, a 32nd degree Mason in Naphtali Lodge and a member of Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, Jewish Relief Association, a heavy contributor to the United Hebrew Charities. 10
At the time of his death, his brother, David Wasserman, was living in Chicago. 10 They were business partners in 1890 (ticket brokers). 12
