The 1889-1890 St. Louis, Missouri Directory found on Ancestry.com shows Ben(nett) and David Wasserman as Ticket Brokers for Wasserman & Co. They had 5 employees: Julius Hauck, stenographer; Robert Latz, cashier; William H. Owen, agent; Xenno E. Owen, clerk; and William B. Sourbeer, book-keeper. The business was at 405 & 407 Chestnut. 12 (There is a bank building there now, but it was across from the Capitol.) |
