NOTES: |
There is a biographical sketch of John Koenigs in the Portrait and Biographical Album of
Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin p.215. He was five years old when he came to America from
Germany. The family lived in New York State before moving to Wisconsin. John inherited the
family farm and he and his wife and children lived there. He was a Pathmaster and a Democrat.
He was a member of Mount Calvary Catholic Church therefore his wife and children probably
were, also.
