NOTES: | * If all the Tuhees in the 1900 census are children of Michael and Catherine, this is what the family may look like. It's possible that James and Michael are not Julia's brothers. If the Maggie McGaulley working in Michael's store is a true niece then he must have had a sister who married Mr. McGaulley - it could even be Mary. It is also possible this is the Margaret McGaulley who is Julia's husband (Daniel)'s niece, daughter of Mary and Thomas. ( I can picture a census taker asking what the relationship is in the later case and the reply: "She's my sister's husband's niece." "OK, niece" :) ) |
