He is a good dancer. He and Carol were members of a square dancing group in San Antonio for many years. Hobbies include coin and stamp collecting and Amateur Radio (N5WBZ). He is a member of the EAA and often visits Oshkosh, Wisconsin for the annual air show. He can fix almost anything.
The family joined Papal Volunteers in Latin America (PAVLA) in 1968. It was a program similar to the Peace Corps but organized by the Catholic Church. He is 5'10" tall with dark brown hair that was blond when he was young. His eyes are hazel. He lost the vision in one eye when a hammer splintered in 1976. His favorite card game was "Cut Throat". He usually won. It was quite an accomplishment if we could beat him! He was on a bowling team for many years, bowling the day before he ws killed in a car accident. |
