The lists of descendants mentioned are not included here at this time.

Fond du Lac, Wis
April 22, 1978

Dear Cousin - ... Am enclosing a list of the descendants of your ancestors that I have to date going back to your great-great great grandparents Henry Achter and Anna Hensler. There are two families that I have not got a list of at this time - Mary Seurer married to Joseph Foertsch and Carl Seurer married to Anna Hermes. These two families moved to Dakota years back and all their descendants ate living there and some in Minnesota. I have met only one or two from all of them a long time ago. ...

I think I met your dad when he was working for the Friden Co. he used to come to the office where I worked - Fond du Lac Lumber Co - and check the calculating machines. [NOTE: That was my dad - Ed Seurer] ...

Dear Cousin

Here is another list of one of the Seurer family that you can add to your collection. This is my mother's youngest brother Carl. I did not know any of them as they had migrated to Dakota. In regard to the Achter's all I have to date is that they came from Germany. My grandmother Margaret Achter was the daughter of Henry Achter and Anna Hensler. ...
