BURIED: The records from St. Nicholas Church indicate that he should be buried in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Dacada, Wisconsin, but there is no headstone. My guess would be that he is buried next to or near his wife, Catharina Wenner, and either there was no tombstone from the beginning or the intent was to add his name to hers and it didn't happen, or his headstone was lost or destroyed. 13
